A glimpse of fall.
Artwork at a local coffee shop. Went there for a business meeting. Took one photo. Battery became “exhausted.” So no more photos of the coffee shop. But I captured this photo when I got home …
Should have done this before starting the challenge! I changed the batteries in the big camera, just not the little one. Oh well. The battery has been refreshed; she’s no longer exhausted today.
Sewing a patch on the Brownie vest…the “hobby” patch. 😉
Hey Aby – so great that you are sharing your week. . .I bought an extra battery for my camera and carry it in a small mesh bag (along with my bluetooth earpiece and iPhone earbuds) in my purse/tote. . .this way I always have a charged up battery. 🙂
LOVE the footprints idea. . .if I could only get my oldest son and husband on board!!

Aby,
Seeing the brownie vest on the ironing board looks like my week. I have a 16 year old (not in scouts anymore) and a 7 year old just starting. I love how the patches say iron on, but they don’t. I machine sewed Katie’s on until Kristin was born, and then I just tucked them into a ziplock because I just didn’t have time anymore.
I had a panic attack as we purchased Kristin’s vest last week that if I don’t get Katie’s patches sewn on her 2 vests, I may end up getting their patches mixed up.
After looking at Katie’s vests, I wished I had hand stitched them on. It looks so much better.
So what did I end up doing? I pulled out the stapler and tacked them on until I get them stitched on. Pathetic I know. I put them into a canvas bag with thread and needle to sew them during times I have to sit watching the end of cheer practice, watching their brother at the skate park, or if I finally get a minute to chill in the evening.
But I still wonder… is there a better way?
