The creme de la cocoa has been found. You Stephen’s fans were definitely on to something. This is some seriously yummy stuff—especially the chocolate mint truffle. (And it’s quite habit forming…so be careful.) Yum-o is all I can say. (Oh, and I can also say thank you to Lisa for setting me up. You’re the best!)
I do need more hot cocoa *help* though. I got an email from Juanita who is desperately seeking the Hershey’s Goodnight Kisses. Does anyone know which major retailers carry this? (And Juanita, if you can’t find it…this Stephen’s stuff is delicious. Plus, it has negligible amounts of caffeine. I drink it right before bed (and in the afternoon—I drink it round the clock, pretty much) and I sleep just fine at night.)
That’s it for today’s hot cocoa update. Hope you’re enjoying a hot cup of your own right now, too. (And if you aren’t…go make a cup. Now. Really. You deserve it.)
I have seen the Hershey’s Good Night kisses at Target, but I find it more often at little boutique shops, so she may want to try a few those as well. The ULTIMATE in hot chocolate is Galaxy Hot Chocolate. You do have to order it from http://www.britishdelights.com because they don’t sell it in the States, but it is sooooooo worth it!!! You taste buds will be singing your praises from here to eternity!
I always find the Hershey’s Goodnight Kisses at Walmart. We love it too, as well as the Stephens!
We used to get Stephen’s Mint Truffle Cocoa at Sam’s years ago and it is my all-time favorite. I was just thinking the other day that I need to hunt some down soon!! Yum!!
I have seen the Goodnight Kisses at Target.
Glad that you are a Stephen’s fan. Try the french vanilla, it is yummy! We also really love the mint truffle. If you have a CostCo, they sell some big cans of the stuff around this time every year.
i think my market still carries Goodnight Kisses. i love te white chocolate one, made with milk its super creamy.
One of my favorite treats at this time of year is to have a cup of hot chocolate with a mini candy cane to stir it. I look forward to it all year. I’m going to look for this Stevens stuff!
I’m a Stephen’s fan myself. Didn’t think it could get better, until my old boss gave me a “Cocomotion” for Christmas one year. If you don’t have one – get to the store immediately! It’s a must have for chocolate drinkers. You just add your milk or water and hot chocolate mix and press a button. It mixes AND warms your cocoa to the PERFECT temperature and makes it a little froathy on the top. Best invention since sliced bread.
If you like caramel-y cocoa, you MUST try Stephen’s Dulce de Leche Caramel — it’s so great!
