Love is in the air! Valentine’s Day is one of the more redeeming parts of winter…an excuse to express love…just because. Above is a peek at my kiddos Valentine’s. I can’t wait until they get home from school and see their little treats.
Tucked inside are some Hershey’s Kisses, a little bit of money rolled in some scrapbook paper and tied with ribbon, and a hand-made Valentine. When all is said and done…that last part, the hand-made card, is the most important part: taking a few minutes to let these little people know how much they make my world go round.
Since I bet someone will ask…the mini mail boxes are from (you guessed it) Target. The letter stickers are from American Crafts, and the chipboard hearts are from Heidi Swapp. (And I have no idea why that kiss says “cheer up.” I clearly didn’t pick up the Valentine’s kisses.)
I hope you and yours have a wonderful Valentine’s Day! Are you doing anything special? I’d love to hear how you celebrate this fun day of love.
SO CUTE!!!!!!!!! You have such an imagination!
Those are ADORABLE !!!
Those mailboxes are something – aren’t they?? I wish I had picked up a dozen to make for various occassions. I made one for my son’s teacher for Valentine’s Day. It’s on my blog.

They are so cute … bet your kids loved them!
I bought my kids little heart shaped lollis for Valentines, which they loved. My husband and I have been out for dinner tonight just the 2 of us, which was lovely … good to have some time together.
Happy Valentines to you and your family. 🙂
I think this idea is so adorable. I am going to remember it for next Valentine for my grandbabies. Thanks. I subscribe to your blog, love your ideas.

I love your mailboxes! Here is our family tradition: I make a heart shaped pizza with the kids. While it is cooling I send them away and decorate the kitchen. I put a valentine table runner on the table, along with my roses from my husband and the pizza in the middle. I put all of the kids presents at their place setting. Then with camera in hand, I call everyone to dinner. It is so much fun to capture their expressions!
This is a wonderful idea! I even think it could be used year ’round for little notes and treats. Hmm, I may have to run out to Target and see if there are any left.
Hope you had a blessed Valentine’s Day!
Those are too cute! I just found your blog (thanks for the link, Bobbi!) and I love it..I’m an organizational freak, so this is great!
V-day…Some friends kept our kids so we could go out, which was so nice. We went to a nice dinner, had prime rib, shrimp and a delectable dessert. Then we just came home and spent some time alone without the kids before I went back and picked them up. Peace. Sweet Peace. 🙂
Happy Valentine’s Day Aby. I also posted a little of what we (me and my kids) did on Valentine’s day for daddy :o)
Those are so cute!!! We spent Valentines Day night in the hospital waiting room waiting for our newest nephew to be born! Hubby and I celebrated the night before with hot wings, beer and a movie 🙂
Aby, these are teh cutest things! I’ve awarded you a “You make my day” award! See my latest post (Feb 19)

You need to be a spokeswoman for Target!
Hi hi – I was just wondering – in what section of Target did you find these? In the scrapbooking aisle?
I found the mail boxes in the dollar spot…before Valentine’s Day.
love your site…you always have such great things to share!!
