Hello friends. Happy Easter weekend to those of you who celebrate it. I hope you’re Friday is off to a good start. If you’re ready to get organized for the weekend and share your weekend to do list, you’re in the right spot. Here’s what’s on tap for me this weekend:
Fun
- NCAA basketball tourney. Michigan State plays tonight. Go green! Check…but my teams lost. Oh well…it was still a really fun season. 🙂
- Run. I haven’t made up my four miles from last week yet, and I still have seven left to do for this week…so…I’ve got some running to do. Good news is that my shoes came in…so I think I finally have the shoe situation resolved. Yay. Check. I ran 5-1/2 miles this weekend.
- Spontaneous fun. I’m going to leave a little open space for some unplanned fun again this weekend… I started reading a new book. Doesn’t sound super fun or super spontaneous, but I’m still going to let it count. 😉
- Easter dinner and other Easter festivities. Check!
Done
- Organize wardrobe. It’s time to begin the seasonal closet switch out and make a list of missing pieces for the upcoming season. Check.
- Project Life. Edit and order photos. Nope. I think I need to bite-size this and work on it a little at a time during the week. Now that basketball is over…I should have some spare time. 😉
- Finish a lingering task. Again…I’m going to let inspiration be my guide. Check and check. I hung up a new shower curtain which I’ve had for far longer than I care to admit…and helped Collin declutter his room a bit per his request. (Love that.)
- Laundry. Check!
- Meal planning + grocery shopping. Check!
So there you have it, a simple plan for a fun and productive weekend. Thanks for sharing your to-do list in the comments. Have a great weekend! Have a great week!! Thanks for joining me for Finish It Friday. 🙂
Glad to hear to got the shoe situation resolved Aby. I’m off today so I’ve got a long list of things to do 🙂
FUN
1) Easter preparations (baskets & food)
2) Hosting Easter dinner… love when everyone comes to Sunday dinner
3) Go to hear my Granddaughter sing in the childrens’ choir Easter morning
DONE
We finally got a break in the weather so outdoor spring cleanup is tops on the list.. and there’s a lot of it this year after the hurricane so…
1) Rake
2) Make a list of things to be done outside (some will have to be hired out)
3) Figure out materials needed for repairing the fence
4) Weekly housework, laundry & food shopping
5) Following on my scanning success last week… I spent the week researching software to keyword photos and decided on Bridge (which works well enough for my purposes and I already had it) so I need to start setting up a keyword structure/list.
6) Start investigating companies for offsite backup of my photos
Well that should be enough to keep me busy 🙂 For those celebrating Happy Easter! Everyone else have a wonderful productive weekend.
Great list, Donna! Hope you have a Happy Easter!

We finally got a break in the weather so outdoor spring cleanup is tops on the list.. and there’s a lot of it this year after the hurricane so…
1) Rake SOME… I hurt my shoulder a few weeks ago shoveling heavy wet snow so I took it easy and did just a little at a time.. but still progress made 🙂
2) Make a list of things to be done outside (some will have to be hired out) CHECK and it’s VERY long
3) Figure out materials needed for repairing the fence CHECK will shop during the week
4) Weekly housework, laundry & food shopping CHECK
5) Following on my scanning success last week… I spent the week researching software to keyword photos and decided on Bridge (which works well enough for my purposes and I already had it) so I need to start setting up a keyword structure/list. CHECK it was a lot of fits and starts but the structure is in place and about 1,000 photos keyworded
6) Start investigating companies for offsite backup of my photos CHECK I’ve settled on Crashplan which is where I was leaning to begin with but wanted to make sure.. it’s the only one that has an option to send you an EHD so you can copy the bulk of your files onto it and send it back for them to ‘seed’ your backup… ideal for someone with real slow internet like mine 🙂
Have a great weekend everyone!
