I once had a client who loved tea. She had oodles of it stored in her pantry. I loved that she was so passionate about something that brought her so much joy. So I suggested she celebrate her love of tea by displaying it in a place of honor and prominence in her home. She decided to put her tea in a large glass jar and place it on her kitchen counter. The jar would allow her to see her tea and enjoy it, even when she wasn’t drinking it.
I’ve been on a tea drinking kick myself lately, for the health benefits and the warmth of it all. So I decided to take my own advice and created a tea jar of my very own for my kitchen counter. I love it and it makes me remember to drink tea. Plus, it reminds me of a very special client.
So how about you. What do you love? (Or what’s your cup of tea?) Bring it out in the open by using a clear container and placing it in a place of prominence so you, too, can celebrate the things you love!
This is such fun!
I found the word love a total of 35 times…36 if you include the subject line. And, of those 36 times, 4 times it was used as “loved”.

Hi Aby,
I must tell you if you’ve been on Tea drinking kick–you MUST try Teavana brand teas!! They have a web site and retail stores (www.teavana.com). It takes tea drinking to a WHOLE new level! I love their Aztec Fire and Haute Chocolate teas. They are divine. Hope you enjoy and I’m off to organize and find the little things that make me happy;0).
You can find these jars at Target and Pier One (and I think Restoration Hardware, but I am not sure.)
I love to store dog bisquits in them, and also playing cards! They’re great to remind you to play a game now and again. Sometimes the cards just get tossed in the drawer and never seen again! This helps keep them handy.
i like this idea…not sure what to putin a glass jar yet, but we’ll see…
Thinking about doing this – do the different flavors of tea ever seem to mix or overpower one or the other since they’re in the same jar? Thanks!
