I am. Are you?
4 weeks left in our twelve week challenge. I’ve still got work to do on my remaining goal: get a chore system implemented for my two kids. It’s number one on my to-do list for this weekend.
How about you? Are you making progress? Are you on track to be where you want to be at the end of the 12 weeks? Let me know! I can’t wait to hear from you!
More soon. Have a great day! 🙂
Can I just say that I finished the one project that I really wanted to!!!
This challenge was exactly what I needed to get my self going this summer.
Since finishing that project, I have actually finished not one, but two, yes two, projects for Christmas gifts.
Here’s to Christmas in July and to Aby and her great inspiration!
I am well on my way to finishing on schedule. As usually happens with my cleaning/organizing projects, It is not as simple as 1. cleaning out the closet in the den and 2. Decluttering the kitchen. Project #1 cleaning the closet and finishing the re-do of the den into a den/scrapbooking room. Everything left in the room that needs to be delt with has been. 5 totes of “stuff”…
(A.)found a permenant home, which means I completely emptied and cleaned out 2 dressers and got rid of some things and reorganized my scrapbook project boxes. I emptied the project packs in the 4 boxes that had been completed and put all of the scrap card stock in one container and scrap patterned paper in another container. Now there are only 2 project boxes instead of 4.
(B.)went to Goodwill or
(C.)went into the trash.
I am now ready for the last set of shelves to be put into place (getting them this weekend). Oh, and the closet, I have taken out some of the shoes and started to go through the clothes. I plan to make a major dent in the closet this weekend (it is crop weekend though, 1 Friday night and an all night one Saturday).
#2 Declutter the kitchen. Several boxes have disappeared and the laundry room off of the kitchen is looking less cluttered. Still quite a bit of work to do in the kitchen but I am pleased with the progress. Even my husband has noticed the progress. Keep asking for updates Aby, I need to stay focused on my deadline!
Could you link the 12-week challenge? I found you just a few weeks ago….
Oooops, please ignore me. I found it!
i JUST discovered this most WONDERFUL blog of yours…i will be playing catch-up…with only one-third of the posted challenge time still allotted to me. so, i will make this one a micro-challenge (of sorts)…PUT UP NEW SHELVING FOR MY SCRAPBOOK (aka dining room) AREA!!! i picked out what i want, but the task seemed so daunting that i STILL haven’t gotten around to doing it. so…here goes. the shelves are GOING UP! (i’ll have to post pics of progress along the way…)
