Happy Friday to you! Who is up for another round of Finish It Friday? If you haven’t played along yet, there’s no better time than today to dive in and start finishing up some lingering to-dos. It will feel soooo good to put a big fat check mark next to a to-do that’s been hanging out on your to-do list for far too long. Your list doesn’t have to be long—finishing just one thing will feel pretty darn good. I liked have a “play list” last weekend—so let’s do that again, too. Okay, let’s do this!
Finish It Friday To-Do List
1. Itemize donations for Wednesday charity pick-up.
2. Wrap-up loose ends from sale. This is the perfect candidate for finish it Friday — as this has been lingering on the to-do list a bit too long. Thanks for the extra nudge my finishing friends.
3. Start and finish organizing knitting stuff.
4. Finish project plan for bathroom project…and make progress. Much of what can be done on this project now are tasks Jay is better equipped to do. But, there are still some things to pick out and buy. (And I know how to pick out and buy, so that will be on my to-do list this weekend.) We selected faucets this week (woohoo!) but need to hit the buy now button, pick up the lights, etc.
Play List
1. Go to pumpkin patch.
2. Knit…another scarf. Progress only — no plans to finish this one. 🙂
Can’t wait to hear what’s on your list this weekend! Thanks to everyone who plays along this week. Here’s to some good finishing and fun!
Have a great weekend!

I’ve not played along in a while! Here’s my weekend plan:
1. Office organization which includes:
a)going trough last year’s school work, toss and keep piles as well as schhol of life file
b) organize bills in their folders.
c) backup computers
d) make new foam bottom for box
e) put away sewing projects
f) put away herloom pictures
2. Outdoor Halloween decorations
I’m on again! Short list this weekend since my husband is out of the country and I’m home on my own with the kids.
1. Organize the stuff I cleared out last weekend so I can bring it to the charity shop on Tuesday.
2. Weekly grocery shopping ( it is always on my list since I dislike it a lot )
3. Finish laundry ( I never do laundry, it is my husband’s job so I need to remind myself )
4. Wash windows ( if it is not below freezing )
And I want a playlist too:
1. Make cinnamon buns with the kids
2. Take the kids to the pool
3. Take my daughter to iceskating ( I keep on trying this one! )
4. Have my friend Tina with family over for dinner on Sunday
5. Carve pumpkins
Oh, the playlist is longer than the worklist – this could be a good weekend!
I see that Brenda put Halloween decorations on her worklist. I live in a country that don’t really “do” Halloween so maybe that is why it is on my playlist instead?
I’m going to try this out, I haven’t taken part before, but I like the idea a lot.
1) Attend to the community yard cleaning happening
2) Wash windows from inside (outside is done allready)
3) Sew a Xmas table cloth from an old curtain
And the playlist (so fun!)
1) eat popcorn
2) go to a house warming party on Saturday
My first time to jump in on this, so I’m starting small….but I LOVE the idea!
1) Clean bathrooms!
2) Paint clock
3) Sew 2 neckwraps for gifts
Play list:
1) Finish 3 scrapbook layouts
Haven’t played in ages:
Get family flu shots
Visit health fair and get DS #2 bike helmet
Go out for breakfast
Cover pool
Go to Hockey game
Scrapbook challenges on TSR
Well, I am recovering from whatever flu-like thing is going around AND I have to work both Saturday and Sunday. However……
1. Unpack at least three boxes in the craft room/office. I am motivated as someone at my church needs the boxes
2. Deliver box of ex’s stuff to his house
3. Dust and Vacuume
