For today’s freebie, two things are up for grabs. First, one person will win a spot in my upcoming session of Organizing 101: Learn How to Get Organized, which begins next Thursday, August 12th. (This is the final session of this workshop for 2010!)
Whether your home needs a complete organizational overhaul, or you have just a room or two that is outside of your clutter comfort zone, this workshop is for you. You’ll find out how to clear the clutter and create an organized space you’ll love. You’ll learn the process I use to organize spaces with clients and in my home, and you’ll apply these concepts in your own home. You’ll start with a small project such as a bookcase or junk drawer, which will allow you to put into action all the steps of the process—from decluttering and selecting storage containers to learning how to maintain the space going forward. Armed with this new firsthand knowledge, and the support of me and your fellow workshop participants, you’ll be ready to move onto bigger and more involved organizing projects. By the time the workshop ends, you won’t just know how to get organized you’ll have some organizing projects checked off your to-do list, too. Now, won’t that feel good?
To enter for a spot in Organizing 101:
1) Leave a comment sharing what organizing projects are on your to-do list.
2) For a second chance to win, either link to this giveaway on Facebook OR tweet this giveaway with a link on Twitter. Then, leave a second comment telling me where you mentioned this giveaway.

Ugh – ALL of the closets in my house need tackling. We moved in a few months ago, and part of “unpacking” was just getting everything out of boxes… and apparently thrown into closets!
I don’t think your server is big enough for me to include my WHOLE To Do List, so here are the highlights:
1) Finish putting away last year’s Xmas decorations.
2) Or should #1 be: Start taking out Xmas decorations so you’ll not be rushed. See last year’s leftovers in spare room…
3) Clean out my closets and get rid of old clothes, old pocketbooks, and old shoes, and make room for, NOT, not new ones, the ones I want to keep!
4) Clean out kitchen, including expired cake mixes and condiments, clean out the fridge, purge the TupperWare cabinet of any unmatched lids or bottoms, organize pots and pans.
5) Clean out the linen closet and get rid of old shampoo samples, towels that we don’t use anymore, old sheets, et.c
6) Clean out the medicine cabinet and the first aid kit and get rid of old meds, old ointments, old bandaids that don’t stick anymore…
I could go on, and on, and on…
Hope I win!
BTW, I also posted this on Facebook…
I am dealing with several organizing projects right now..ugh!
1. Getting packed boxes from my Dad’s and moving them here to unpack
2. Organizing Craft Supplies (I really have nowhere to put them!!)
3. Find a place for my fiance’s stuff
4. Going through 2 storage units to go through and organize my “stuff” there
Well, is that enough do ya think? lol
I purchased a new fence which cannot be installed unless I get a permit – which I cannot get unless I have the original survey for the house (10 years ago) – which I cannot find because my home is buried in boxes of clutter.
So in my case, being disorganized is about to cost me a few hundred dollars in fees for a new survey.
I posted a link on Facebook to my Wall!
Downstairs (basement) we don’t need a play area anymore and the living room, our business storage and scrapbook area need to be redone, rearranged, revamped.
My list is very long…I need to organize my basement, my kids’ rooms, my room and my kitchen (especially the cabinets). I also need a good system for organizing important bills/paper.
I need help organizing my baby’s room and figuring out where to store stuff she’s already outgrown.
1. Packing for college! I can only bring about two bags.
2. Organizing my homeschooling records.
3. Organizing the overflowing clothes in the bedroom.
I posted this to facbook.
craft supplies (kids and mine!) are on the top of my organizing todo list. probably photographs (old & new) are next.
I could really use an organizing class just to get my list organized. I’ve got half-finished projects all over the house and have been feeling very overwhelmed with it all since half of it is the leftover trash from an ex-roommate.
Thanks for the giveaway!
This has also been posted on my facebook page.
I need to organize this paper! Organize my bill pay system and declutter the house in general! We are going through a major “attack our debt” campaign and I need to keep track of what we are spending. I used to keep receipts, then when we were married and I saw my husband never did, I quit keeping them. Now I’ve got little pieces of paper everywhere and a one year old who can reach every shelf I own. Help!
Just combined two households and now have a six child family… STUFF STUFF STUFF everywhere! Definitely could use some organization guru.

🙂
My organising challenge is a brand new house. Our dream home. Room for everyone and a dog. Also plenty of space for the clutter.
I feel happier now knowing that much of my mess has been dealt with by assigning homes for things, But I am concerned about having a home for everything.
You course could drastically improved my efforts. Thanks
Ange
Back to school papers. I need to get areas set up in the house. And places where the kids do their homework.
My next project to tackle is the kitchen cabinets and pantry!
What a generous giveaway! My to-do list is sooooo long. Early this spring, I walked around my house, room by room, and listed everything I could see that needed “finished”, which by the way, became my word of the year… FINISH. I have over 200 items on my list at this point, and only 13 things have been checked off! I feel so overwhelmed that I sometimes secretly wish my house would go up in flames so that I could start all over from the beginning where I could stay caught up and never get behind again. Please pick me for this workshop; I am in desperate need of some real help and guidance.

Thanks for the chance to win! We’re trying how to create a multi-tasking guest room – any help in organizing would be great!
