Who is playing along this week? For me, it’s another simple Finish It Friday.
- Finish packing. (check!)
- Drive, drive, drive, drive, drive.
- Have coffee with Marcia.
- Drive a bit more.
- Enjoy a relaxing weekend in Michigan. 🙂
Hope you have a great weekend, too! I would love to hear what you’re finishing this weekend. I’ll be checking in to see who’s in this week once I arrive at my destination. 😉 Have a great day!
1. Drop off the recycling.
2. Get dogs nails trimmed. (They grow so fast!)
3. Finish editing, posting, and copying vacation pictures.
4. Clear out inbox. It has gotten out of control!
5. Start tackling the housework. Our place needs a good dusting and scrubbing.
6. Spray the concrete in the backyard to neutralize “puppy” smell. This should have been on my list weeks ago. Better late than never, right?
7. Help Mom find a dress to wear to our wedding. 5 months until the big day!
Whew. That’s a lot. I better get cracking! Good luck to everyone else trying to tackle their To Do list!
1. Mail my wedding dress to my daughter to see if it fits for her April wedding.
2. Download the files from the paper clutter class before they disappear.
3. Start holiday baking by making 2 batches of my cranberry/white chocolate biscotti.
4. Find the rest of my winter clothes!
5. Finish hanging pictures.
good morning Aby
this weekend I will
* finish sorting my ‘storage boxes’ leftover from all my organising
* make 4 little gift notebooks
* check out what cards I need for Christmas
* sit with DH and confirm our Christmas calendar
Love the “Finish it Friday” concept – I’m going to remember that one! For me today it was laundry, laundry and… you guessed it… laundry!! (Now there’s something I wish I could finish 😉
For me it’s
1. Laundry
2. Nail down our Christmas budget
3. Shop for Thanksgiving dinner.
4. Do a Thanksgiving craft with Samuel.
Here it is another weekend! I have plenty to do.
*Laundry
*Drop off gift boxes at church to be mailed for Samaritans Purse
*Take my son and niece to the free library program/workshop (Clay 101 -pottery)
*Get a birthday gift card for my mother
*Clean the bathrooms
*PTO project (counting Capri Sun Pouches in prep for recycling)
*Cut out coupons
For me it’s:
1. Bottle infused olive oils
2. Sort hazelnuts from shells (as they come from the cracker all mixed up) and package shelled nuts
3. Write Christmas newsletter
4. Print labels for overseas Christmas cards ready to stick onto the envelopes
5. Write overseas Christmas cards
6. Make block for shared quilt (due Tuesday – would be nice not to be doing it on Monday night for a change)
Hmm, as I’m actually writing this on Saturday night here in NZ (we’re ahead of you guys) I’ve already done two thirds of (1) and one third of (2). I can see (6) slipping away, but I’ll be trying!
Have a great ‘finish it’ weekend everyone!
I wrote mine down on Friday but didn’t post a comment, yet!
1. Grade papers
2. Start the office remodel (my husband is finding a new spot in our house and I get the office, as my things are in the dining room!)
3. Catch up on laundry
4. Spend some time with our children’s great-grandparents, here for a visit
5. Call and check in with my parents and grandparents.
* boys Christmas list
* moving back into the pantry!
* one set of papers for cards
* emptying basket by computer
* reorganizing hutch
* mailing boys photos to family
Hmmmmm. I must be doing something wrong because I posted my finish it Friday list on Friday night, but I do not see it here. At least I can be proud of the fact that I did finish everything. I made a list delegating to my husband and son the things they can do to help out before Thanksgiving. They already put a sizeable dent in that list! I had wanted to finish a card and a scrapbook page, but I had to trade those for something more urgent. I also organized and paid bills and did the laundry.
It is a good feeling to know that the weekend did not fly by without something being accomplished. I hope everyone else was successful.
I have never handed in a finish-it-friday-list but this weekend I have been so good with finishing things that I want to share my victory over my list! 😉
+ laundry
+ re-arranged the tupperware-drawers so they can be shut again
+ did book-keeping
+ grocery-shopping
+ decluttered the basement
+ decluttered the hallway-closet
+ sorted through socks
+ started christmas-cards
Feels great!
I got all my list done last weekend, but have been busy finishing things this week so I haven’t had time to post! 🙂
