Happy Friday to you! It has been quite a day of finishing for me already—and it’s *only* 4 PM. 😉 There’s so much more on my weekend to-finish list, so here goes:
- (Start) and finish (within reason) holiday planning.
- Finish planning Collin’s birthday celebration(s).
- Finish putting away Halloween decorations.
- Wash car – inside and out. It’s supposed to be nice here this weekend, so it would be nice to get this done.
There is more…but this is what I’m going on record with. 😉 How about you? What’s on your finish-it list?
Preparing for a week in Cancun!
Getting our Thankful Feather Letters http://positivelymom.blogspot.com/2006/10/travel-shepherds-and-turkey-feathers.html ready to send out, recuperating from bronchitis (had after the flu…), and starting some holiday planning.
Here’s my list:
1. Wash cloth diapers so I can start using them with my son – finally!
2. Make at least one batch of baby food.
3. Return a shirt and food processor to the store.
Here’s to a productive weekend:
1. Make and send Thanksgiving cards
2. Wrap some holiday gifts – just pulled them out from the closet and update my list
3. Put stamps on holiday cards – yes they’re done!
4. Plan out my holiday menu
5. Finish reading the book I started
Have a great weekend!
hmmmm hard to say what I WILL get done but let’s give it a whirl.
1. pack clothing for scrapbook weekend while clothes are clean!
2. more laundry (been doing that all day)
3. pick up pictures at store
4. Send more pictures to process so can pick up with others.
Glad I saw this. Here’s my declared list:
– clean inside of car and wash outside.
– install carseat and remove infant carrier.
– chose 25 pieces of clothing (50 would be better) to donate, consign or throw away.
– finish reading book club reading. 🙂
I have leftover item or two from last Friday. *One would be to clean off my kitchen table
*Help my son look for one of the DS games he has misplaced (he is 6 yrs old)
*Go grocery shopping
*I want to pick out some new shelf paper for the kitchen (inside the cabinets)
*Save pictures (from digital camera) on a disc
I am sure there are more things for me to do, but… I will have to put those on my list next Friday!
Have a great weekend.

Hi Aby,
I’ve been following your blog for awhile, and am finally posting a comment. 🙂 First, I must tell you that I LOVE your website and blog. I love organizing and hate clutter, and your blog gives me so many helpful tips and ideas. Thanks so much!
Here’s what I accomplished this weekend for Finish It Friday:
1) Cleaned the interiors and exteriors of all our windows (we are almost finished building our house, so this was the first time they had been cleaned since they were installed. Boy were they dirty!).
2) Sweep dirt and debris off the front porch and sidewalk.
3) Pay bills.
4) Pick up household items from Costco and Target.
5) Buy a new dayplanner.
This doesn’t seem like much, but these tasks definitely filled up my entire weekend. Where did the time go? 🙂
