So it’s Friday, and boy do I have a lot of lingering to-dos hanging around on my happy little to-do list. It was a really busy week, (thus explaining my absence from this blog,) and as a result, there are just a few things I need to finish up.
Would you like to join me? I’d love the company. If you’re new to Finish It Friday, you can read the details here.
I’ll go first. Here’s my Finish It Friday list. (I need to give myself a nudge, so it’s a pretty long list.)
- List three items on Craig’s list. (I’ve been putting this off way, way too long!)
- Straighten up the basement back room.
- (Start) and finish cleaning the house! (I usually do this during the week…but this week was just too busy. Oh well…)
- Transfer photos to jump drive for my family in Michigan.
- Order samples for master bedroom window blinds.
- Paint a picture frame.
- Finish up my projects for Get Organized for the Holidays.
Okay…I’ve gone on record! Wish me luck. We also have soccer, some shopping to do, and a family get-together, so it’s going to be a full weekend. But it will feel really good to get this stuff done! Just putting it in writing has me motivated to do it. And it will have the same effect on you, too, so, please join me! I’d love to hear what’s on your to-do list this weekend. Good luck with your Finish It Friday projects!
This is my list for this weekend,
Finish Halloween decorating:
1. hang pumpkin lights
2. spider web and spiders
3. ghosts
4. change pictures on frames
5. make new sayings
7. fill jars
8. shelves
9. kids decor garland
10. PUT AWAY SUMMER DECOR!
I had choose a fridge/freezer, a cooker hood and finish painting a corner in the kitchen. And I got all three crossed off. 😀
I love the idea of finish it Friday. I missed it last week, but I will try to do that this week. That is a great idea. Then you go into the weekend feeling like you’ve accomplished a good portion of your to-do list. I have a long one right now!
I was determined to get everything ready for Halloween this weekend! Here’s my list:
1. Bought a few decorations (I had none)
2. Made some more decorations by repurposing
3. Decorated the house
4. Bought my Halloween costume
5. Helped fiance get his costume
6. Decided on what dish I’m bringing to the party (pumpkin cupcakes :])
I’m proud of myself for buying my costume this weekend because the party is the 30th, so I didn’t put it off until the last minute! A first for me and it feels awesome!
Thanks for the motivation!
I’d be very excited if I could:
— finish tax return (2008)
— clean stovetop,
— list some baby stuff on Craigslist,
— get a pile of clothes to Goodwill,
— and get ready for Halloween. (costumes ready, party casserole ingredients purchased, candy/decorations done)
