How was your weekend? I hope it was great! I’d love to hear how you did with your Finish It Friday projects. I’m happy to report the following updates on my Friday To-Finish list:
- Drop off donations at Goodwill. Done! On Friday I dropped of the box of stuff at Goodwill. Woohoo! It always feels good to have the stuff completely out of the house.
- Finish a creative project (or two!) Check! I finished four projects for Get Organized for the Holidays this weekend. So fun to play with paper, paint and Mod Podge.

I’m a woman with a mission. I love finish it Friday. It was a perfect fall weekend for fall cleaning. It was such a productive weekend:
1. Found drapes living/dining rooms
2. Found new bathroom shower curtain and accesories – didn’t over buy-kept it simple
3. Clean both medicine/base cabinets bathroom
4. Clean linen closet
5. Hubby painted laundry room/I cleaned out cabinets
6. Hubby painted the family room – woohoo!!!
7. Cleaned out dresser drawers/nightstand
8. Paid bills
9. Completed paperwork credit uniton and eye glass reimbursement
10. Purchased 2 more Christmas gifts – 3 kids left to do – getting there and they’re paid for – no debt this year
11. Purchased a birthday gift
12. Purged dress clothes that I know longer need
13. Wash and Ironing done
14. Cleaned the bedroom and kitchen
Started Friday and kept going through the weekend. Exhausted but so happy with my progress. Hoping to finish up next week. I need to make a phone call to pick up donations but figured that would wait until I finish the last closet, hutch and hope chest. Already have the phone number ready. Hope everyone had a great weekend and finally got some things done.
I did it!
I cleaned up my bathroom and the results are on my blog, I dropped of bags of clothes at Plato’s Closet and what they didn’t take I have saved to take home to a friend of the family, and I have two boxes packed to leave in two weeks!
I finally got the broken glass from a frame out of the basket in my closet and into a box for the garbage. It’s been sitting there for weeks. Now it’s done and will be out of the house on Wed. (garbage day). Thanks for the motivation.
I was able to organize my closet. I am participating in the workshop. I am excited with the outcome. I have 3 boxes ready for my DH to drop off at the Goodwill!
