Its Friday…hooray! For me, the week has simply flown by. Looking forward to a weekend filled with a bit of getting things done, a bit of relaxing, and a bit of hanging out with my family. Do you have anything fun planned for the weekend?
So…if you joined me two weeks ago for Finish It Friday, you know first-hand how freeing it can be to get a nagging to-do (or two or three!) checked off your to-do list. Want to join me again? This time I haven’t pre-finished anything…so you’ll just have to check and see what I come up with. I have a nagging to-do on my to-do list that I must address today. (Scheduling a mammogram!) So I will finish that for sure…but I don’t think that will give me my fill of finishing. We’ll just have to see what else I come up with.
I’m going on record to say that today, as part of Finish It Friday, I will call and schedule a mammogram. There. I’ve said it. Now I have to do it!
How about you? Want to join in the fun and get a nagging to-do checked off your list? You can read all about Finish It Friday here, and then post in the comments what you will finish by Sunday evening at 9 PM Central. Sound like a plan? Can’t wait to hear what you’re going to do!! Have a terrific weekend!
I have two photo albums with photos but no journaling. I will create the journaling cards (4″ x 6″) for those two albums, print out the cards and put them into the albums!
Thanks for the reminder about the mammogram – off to schedule mine now!
I have been trying to downsize my 4 yo daughter’s toys for a while now, but never quite get finished. I get called away or distracted and leave the job unfinished, which means she just gets back into the toys I’m trying to get rid of and I’m back at square one. Sunday night she has her cousin spending the night. So I will be getting those extra toys out of there before she arrives. I can’t have two 4 year olds going through sorted toys! One is bad enough!! 🙂
Just wanted to say I think it’s great that you’re doing this on the blog. I haven’t seen the posts early enough in the weekend to really participate this time or last but it’s helped inspire me to update my lists of “things to get done this month / this year” and to start checking stuff off. Finally fixed the towel rack that’s been broken for two years!! Thanks. 🙂
I’m so excited to finally finish organizing my linen closet. It has bugged me for year. It went from completely unusable to great looking thanks to my custom shelves built by Dad. I spent the past week painting the shelves and starting Friday got to put them in the closet and put the linens etc… onto the shelves. I’m taking pictures along the way so I can appreciate how much better it looks!
I have been wanting to clean up my scrap room. It is also our office and it is a disaster. I want to reorganize it without spending a whole lot of money.
When this room is clean, it is very relaxing…..I can’t wait to feel relaxed again!!!
Thanks Aby, I love your blog and newsletters!
