Who is up for another round of Finish It Friday? Here’s my list:
- Finish getting ready for my trip to L.A. next weekend.(Keep your fingers crossed…mine are.)
- Finish laundry.Love that it is already started. This way I know it will be all caught up by Sunday.
- List at least one item on Craig’s list. This is a totally annoying lingering to-do from before the holidays when we painted our bedroom. Fingers crossed that the item sells.
- (Start) and finish cleaning the house.
- Help with Science Fair project. This one is really a start-up project, and not an unfinished project, but I think it is going to take a bit of time, so I wanted to put it on the list. We may not get the whole thing done, but we plan to make a fair amount of progress.
Let the games begin! Remember to post your list in the comments and then check-in again on Monday! See you then! Have a great weekend!
I plan to declutter my office so we can go paint and desk shopping. DH thinks the old desk is too big and doesn’t have enough storage.
Oh rain rain go away come again another day! Hoping to start clearing the garage and start organizing my scrapping supplies.
I also need to start on my childrens Elem. School yearbook as I am the creator of it.
Crossing my fingers that Craig’s List delivers the perfect buyer right away. And it’s nice to see that catch up on laundry is on someone else’s list, too–we’ve had so much rain which means wet dogs which means a wet dog towels ;-). Fortunately, by Sunday, the laundry room will be neat and tidy again.
My lists always seem to be longer than everyone else ;o)
1. Organise papers into new storage cabinet (I’ve done the fun bit, now it’s dealing with all of those little scraps)
2. Write notes for meetings
3. Make 4 baby cards, 2 birthday cards and 1 pregnancy card
4. Make cartons for cards
5. Receipts for accountant (yawn!) but I did start last week so I do need to finish
6. Drink 6 glasses of water a day (need to keep this one on the list, I did well last weekend because I did F.I.F but never did it in the week!)
Thanks for this Aby, it’s really motivated me to get on with it!
This weekend will be a bit odd for me, but then I can get back into my normal routine.
Get Holiday decorations taken down and put away (in-laws have now seen them).
Spend time with MIL and FIL before they head back to Florida
Entertain family members who will be coming by to visit before the in-laws leave.
Keep the house tidy.
Finish scrapbooking project MIL brought with her.
To be fair to myself….this weekend actually wraps up my 2009 Holiday season.
Tidy the house & do laundry
Take DD to eye doctor
Make hair appointment
Mail box to college daughter
Church work:
phone calls
paper-collating project
finish preparing lesson
write goals to share

list 2 items on Craigslist
take 2 boxes to Goodwill
finish piano bench project
plan menu for next week
I love finish it friday!!!! I don’t always comment on here but i always play. Thanks for the inspiration & motivation. :o)
this weekend i have mended a whole load of toys & bits that i have been putting off. also bought light fitting to mend a broken table lamp. Got my husband to fit it & we are all happy that we have light on the tv table again! The other job that I have been putting off for ever was to go through my address box & update new addresses from this year’s Christmas cards we’ve received & get rid of all the out of date address cards. My son was off school ill on Friday & I sorted the address box sitting on the floor next to him while he lay on the sofa watching telly. It was surprisingly easy & quick to get done! No idea why I put it off for so long!! LOL!!
Next on my list is to finish sorting my study & put stuff into the garage. I think that’s enough for one weekend, don’t you? ;o)
PS I should say it feels REALLY good to have mended the afore mentioned table lamp as the fitting only cost £1.78 which is a whole lot cheaper than a new lamp! Must admit to feeling rather pleased with myself about that!! Hee hee!! :o)
I decided just to focus my fiFs on my unfinished scrapbooking project. Last night I finished my mini album of my sister’s visit when she came to visit us in Hawaii. She came exactly at this time last year, and we had started on this project when she was here. It feels good to finally see it complete and finisheed!
Oh yes, the Craigslist items. I’ve had that on my to-do list since November. Other than that I’m working on being ready for an upcoming trip for once, instead of waiting until the last minute.
