I’m not big into scrapbooking b/c I don’t have a lot of time/space right now. I started a blog as kind of a digital scrapbook, so I guess I scrapbook at my computer. 🙂
I am lucky to have a dedicate craft room that I love….however, my biggest challenge is the small embellishments. I have tried a couple of different organizing methods, but I still tend to forget what I have stashed away.
I scrapbook whereever I can find space. Usually at a friend’s home. I do have a scrap counter, but it rarely stays clean enough to scrap on.
I scrapbook in a corner of our basement … hope to have a room to myself one day. My biggest challenge is figuring out the best way to organize my paper … my color, by manufacturer, by pattern on the paper, etc.
I scrapbook on the dining table so the challenge is space on the table and having to clean up all the time. If I start a project seems that I spend as much time organizing the stuff and pictures for the project only to pack it all up and put it away. If I dont go back to it soon, than I sort of forget where I left off. A new challenge is that my mom recently died and I have 3 boxes of photos that came home from her house that I would like to organize and scrap. These boxes also include picures my mom got from my grandmas house. These need space and time to be sorted out and grouped together I dont want to have to put them away every time I stop as this is not a productive use of my time. The personal heritage book would be perfect.
Nice chance to win as I am currently scrap booking heritage photos!
I work at a long wooden cabinet in the family room with 4 cupboards underneath. I have a few boxes of scrapbook stuff which live on top- organizing by color helps but the main problem is to keep the top clear (which fits in with the rest of the house) you have to put it all away after working on a page – would be much more inspiring to leave it all out! I’d rather spend my precious time working on the layout rather than unpacking the relevant bits to start again from where I left off.
I just tweeted the giveaway.
I’m a digital scrapper, so 99% of my scrapping is done at the computer in the kitchen. The challenge is having a very small corner desk with not much space. In addition, the area is not large enough for my wide-format printer, so I have to go to another room when I want to print a layout…which means taking the laptop, hooking up the wide-format printer…you get the idea. When I paper-scrapped, I had a table in my living room, but I also used the kitchen island much of the time because I prefer to scrap standing up. The challenge there was not only limited space, but not being able to leave out my supplies for an extended period of time. One corner of my closet is dedicated to scrapbook supplies and while it’s not ideal, it works for my current situation. Thanks for asking, and thanks for making the giveaway available.
We just moved so I’m starting from scratch! My biggest organizational problem right now is not having walls! I have an unfinished basement to wall in for my craft room, so I get to plan things out the way I want them, but its overwhelming at the same time! Sometimes its easier just to work with that’s there because its not in the cards to change it! (Any tips on bribing the husband to build walls quicker? I miss my craft cave, as he calls it!)
Currently, I scrapbook at my dining table and my biggest challenge is small embellishments. If I can’t see them- I don’t use them! Right now we are remodeling parts of our home and soon I will have my very own dedicated craft room!!
I scrap in my studio (digitally) and the greatest challenge is the lure of the web. So much interesting stuff out there… 🙁
I am fortunate to have my own scrapbook room (where the dining room could be.) I have such a hard time letting go of supplies. I need to streamline and simplify.

I scrapbook wherever I find a space to, so my biggest challenge is to have all my tools with me! 🙂
I have a small desk in my husbands study and my biggest problem is keeping all the stuff I regularly use easy to hand.
I scrapbook in my bedroom and keeping all my pictures readily at my fingertips so I can choose just the right one is the biggest struggle I have. Maybe I just need to take fewer pictures!
Mostly, I scrapbook in my closet. There is quite a bit of space in there, but it is still not enough. Also, the lighting is terrible. That being said, I am lucky to a have a dedicated scrapping place, it is very quiet, and I love all the things I make!
I’m a digital scrapbooker and I work in my craft/office room. I have recently organized all my craft and office supplies but the challlenge for me is to organize my digital scrapbooking material…
I scrap in my dining room….it’s hard because I have to pull everything out and I have a hard time setting up quickly and then cleaning up, too!
where? the dinning table
challenge – it is a busy place when you tend to have people over often
