I’m in the mood for some finishing! There are some things that have been lingering on my to-do list for just a tad bit too long, and my friends, today is the day to create some serious check marks! Woohoo! I’m very energized and excited to see how many check marks I can create today and over the weekend.
So…here’s my Finish It Friday list:
- Finish at least three of those nagging to-dos on my business to-do list.
- Finish at least five action steps for a class I’m taking.
- Finish the laundry.
- Finish swapping out clothes (winter to spring) in my closet.
- Mail my Mom’s birthday gift.
Okay, that is a lot—it would mean eleven check marks if I do it all so I better get on with it!
What’s on your list this weekend? Please share your list in the comments along with what it means in terms of check marks. Let’s see how many check marks we can create collectively this weekend. Sound fun? (Okay, it does to me, but I could be a tad bit odd in that respect. Am I’m alone in this?)
Happy Friday!
For the past few weeks I’ve been collecting things to give away. I have (I think) 3 boxes ready to go plus two bikes. Tomorrow I will drop these off and that will be a big check mark! I also want to finish 3 scrapbook pages and if I can find more paint, finish painting a bright green frame to put in my office.
For the first time all year we’re having nice weather this weekend, 70 degrees and sunny.
I will be sitting on the dock with a bottle of something wet, a book in one hand, and my camera in the other.
My to do list?
1) drink whatever it is I have to drink
2) read my book
3) enjoy the sun and absorb as much vitamin D as I can
4) take pictures of the lake
5) play with my new laptop
HEY! I think this is the first Finish It Friday list I’ll actually finish!!!
I started cleaning out my pantry Monday and only have one shelf left to clean and organize. I’m famous for starting a job and not finishing it so that’s my goal for the afternoon. Also, I need to mop the kitchen floor and get out the Spring decorations. Time to get busy!
Hi Ladies! I am ready and eager to play
This week, besides laundry -because there’s always laundry- I am hoping to:
-Finish the craft room AND taking the pictures so I can launch the darn blog.
– Upload current pics to the family site.
-Take toys to goodwill (from last weeks cleanup)
-Get to Staples
-SLEEP
I like check marks (or ticks as we call them in the UK!) I like ticks so much that I actually add things to my to do list that I have done that weren’t already on the list just so I can tick them off!! My mum is the same. As yet I haven’t made a Finish it Friday list as it’s my husband’s birthday today & we have been out & about enjoying the day together with out little girl while her 3 big brothers were in school. we have just all tidied up the living room together so I guess that is one thing finished. :o)
I have a little Finish it Friday list this week;
* Finish cards for shop
* Finish lesson one of organising workshop
* Do ironing (boring!) while watching a film (not so boring!!)
That’s it for me this weekend because we are out with family.
Ok so for my finish it Friday it is Sat pm and I am doing a Sunday list. I had new roof put on this past week so tomorrow I will be putting up new shutters to match the color (a lovely brick red metal roof) and paint the front door to match! Finish the laundry, bake a loaf of bread for the week and clean the floors. Hope I can get it all done! Have a great Sunday! 🙂
Oh. That’s nice. Along with the Minneapolis commercial cleaning service, I do the organizing in my home office every two weeks. They take care of the rest of the house – the kitchen, bedrooms, dining, living area, entry, etc.
Here’s my to-do list this coming weekend
– separate the laundry
– walk Rabi, our dog
– bring my daughter to her piano lessons
– get back home and wait for the cleaning service
– while waiting, continue reading a book
– make breakfast for my husband
– start cleaning
– organize papers in my office
and my list will go on and on…
Oh yes! I’ll try to get a power nap before I fetch my daughter.
