Happy Friday my finishing friends! I hope you had a great week. Around here the week never really got started, or at least as soon as it did, the week was over! Today is the first day of school this week for Collin, and the first day since Monday for Kailea. And yet, it’s time to starting thinking about the weekend. Crazy! Despite the school closings, the storm was kind to us. No power outages, which is always good. I hope you weren’t negatively affected by the storm either.
And so now it’s time to turn our attention to the weekend! Here’s what’s on tap around here:
Play List
- Basketball tournament with Collin.
- Watch the Super Bowl.
- Dinner out.
To Finish
- Research counter tops for bathroom. Our bathroom re-do project was intentionally halted in November due to other priorities on the to-do list, like birthday’s and holiday activities. But…I never got the enthusiasm to start the project back up in January. The problem? This project has officially been hijacked by counter-top indecision. I really don’t know what I want for a counter and a lot of other decisions and actions hinge on this decision. So the project is at a dead standstill. This weekend I am committed to moving this project forward by exploring counter top options. Hopefully we can get this decision made in the next week or so, and get this project back on track. (Any counter top advice or recommendations?)
- Laundry.
- Clean the house.
- Boot camp.
- Clean out one file drawer. It’s time to do a bit of maintenance on some of my archive files. So I’m going to practice what I preach and bite-size this project—one drawer for 30 minutes. Then, we’ll see if I’m inspired to do more. 🙂
What’s on your to-do list this weekend? If you haven’t joined Finish It Friday yet, I hope you’ll give it a try this weekend. It’s a great way to have more fun and get more done. 🙂 Looking forward to hearing about your plans (and any counter top recommendations!) Have a great weekend!!
