Happy Monday to you! Here’s the place to report your Finish It Friday progress. Hope you had a happy and productive weekend!
Here’s my update:
- Rest and Relax:check.
- Help Kailea finish up her science fair project:Finished!
- Finish laundry: Done!
- Start and finish cleaning the house: woohoo!
- Pick one item from my “to-finish” list and finish it! Okay, I chose to clean out my bathroom drawers and under the sink. This was more of a nagging project than an unfinished project, but it feels really good to have it all tidied up. I also washed and ironed the valance in Kailea’s room. Which moves us closer to having her room finished up for a while. It could also be consider spring cleaning, which is probably more of the motivation for doing this—I am definitely starting to get the itch for spring!
- Finish cheering on the Colts for the season: Okay, well this one didn’t turn out as I hoped, but it sure was fun watching them this season.
Okay, so it was a good weekend. Flew by way to fast, but don’t they always? I was really excited to see so many of you participating in Finish It Friday this week. I hope even more of you join me next weekend. That “to finish” list really helps! Okay, let me know how things went with your to-do list! I can’t wait to hear!

Finishing bookwork for my husband – Done!
Finishing Laundry – Done (except for ironing)!
Cleaning the house – okay – so I didn’t quite get this done – that’ll happen this week.
Working on Scrapbook Pages for BPS DYL – finished 4 pages!
Type up a report for my garden club – Done!
1) Laundry (the bane of my existence) – ONE LOAD LEFT
2) reload all missing software on my desktop – it was completely “wiped” at work last week and I am starting from scratch. – PARTIALLY DONE – SUPPORT TICKET IN WITH ACDSEE
3) play catch-up with my online classes that I have missed due to traveling for work this week – TWO OF THREE CLASSES CAUGHT UP
4) read all my email and clean out email folder – DONE
5) read everything in Google Reader – DONE
6) once software is loaded, do at least two digi layouts – ONE DIGI LAYOUT CREATED
7) post layouts to blog and class forums – DONE
In fact, I let go of parts of 3 and 6 in order to spend some time blogging. It was a good trade-off.
Laundry — almost done (just put away)
Clean (pick up) the basement – done
Clean up craft room – done
Hang picture in craft room – done
Clean old email from my inbox – done

Call dentist and reschedule son’s appointment (because he has 2 speeches, an algebra test, and he starts behind the wheel driving at school today)

Run daughter her tennis shoes because they were left sitting at the door! Done!
Confirm 3 birthday parties for this weekend and one for next week… Done!
Shop for 4 birthday parties and a little girl in my day care turning three! Done.
Clean the house… Done!
Laundry… never done… but it was done when I put the last load in the dryer.
Valentines… done!
It is really going to be a long week…..

1- put fabric away that has been hanging out on the bench in my foyer for an embarrassingly long time!
2- declutter in my school area for 15 minutes
3- plan meals for the week (I know I have this on here every week and it’s not that I plan to do it on the weekend, I just let it go ’til the weekend. I really need to work it into my weekly schedule.)
Hi everyone, here were mine
1. Write presentation by the latest Sunday night (done – Saturday!)
2. Prepare back boards for my meeting, using stars (done)
3. Prepare health and safety training package (done)
4. Sew buttons on my coat!! (how long have I had that on my to do list…you don’t want to know!) (done)
5. Order some bits through Vista business (not done but started) printing instead of just saving it into my inbox saved file folder!!
6. Take my Blackberry in for repair (done)
7. Do a ‘to finish’ list (done)
8. Make card for submission to publication (done, yet to send)

10. Start and finish cleaning the house ready for our visitors tonight (done)

Not a bad weekend’s work! Very happy girl now :o)
I will:
1) Get two of my four much needed haircuts! (DONE!)
2) Laundry-Ugh.
