How did you do with your Finish It Friday list? Here’s my check-in. Next weekend my list will definitely include something fun. I saw that on Emily’s list and thought “Yes, don’t forget to have fun!” Thanks, Emily for the reminder. 🙂
1. (Started) and finished (within reason) holiday planning.
2. Finished planning Collin’s birthday celebration(s).
3. Finished putting away Halloween decorations.
4. Washed car – inside and out. Vacuumed the car and then went through the car wash. Saved about 45 minutes of time this way, and didn’t get wet. A really good $6 investment.
5. Laundry.
6. Cleaned the bathroom really, really well.
7. Helped Collin finish Veterans day float project.
8. Almost finished knitting a scarf. I think I just need to add some fringe…which I’ve never done before. 🙂
9. Ordered a Christmas gift.
10. Almost finished getting the kids ready for snow—new coats, snow pants, hat, scarf, gloves. Still need boots for one child. Now, let’s hope it snows here this year!
11. Returned library books.
12. Finished menu plan and grocery list for the week.
13. Emptied and cleaned the herb and flower pots.
14. Potted a few herbs for a window sill garden.
15. Played four-square. (This definitely counts as fun.)
16. Put the finishing touches on the Goals workshop. If you’ve been looking at that one, it is now open for enrollment. Hooray!
How about you? How did you do on your list? I hope you had a productive and *fun* weekend. 🙂

4. Finished reading 2 1/2 books and now have one left in the series
5. Cleaned the door frames/hubby did the railings out front – finally off my list
6 Purchased new sheets and exchanged a housewarming gift
7. Treated myself to a sweater and vest
8. Bought the velco so hubby can install the undercounter lights
9. Ordered TV for family room – this is going to be our Chistmas gift

It’s hard to believe that’s is the start of the 2nd week of November. The holidays will be soon upon us. Have a great day.
Your weekend was productive.
We tiled our back patio, an all day project.
I worked on our health care reimbursement forms. (something I had been dreading)
Went to church.
Not a long list but it the first two items were biggies and glad to thave them behind me.
Hugs and thanks. I always enjoy your posts.

Hi Aby,
-I got stuff done, but more for the next weekend list!
Laundry
-Bought supplies for my annual christmas craft project with my stepson. We are doing stockings for our family and his other family. He loves it when I include ‘both’ families!
-Tyler (stepson) got his ‘catalog’ review done for christmas gifts. I started this with him a few years ago. This year he asked me, ‘where’s the catalogs’! LOVE IT!
-Met with a new friend on a homework assignment for a class I’m taking. Made a great new connection with her.
-Got my binder done for your ‘holiday organization’ class.
-ordered prescriptions
-caught up on sleep
WHEW! Lots done, felt great!
I was able to complete a few things. I will have to move the others to this Friday (11/13).
*My son actually found his own game! Thank goodness! It was in a basket hanging on the coat closet door knob. OH MY!
*Cleaned some of the items off of the kitchen table. Hope to have that done by the end of the week. That is my challenge this week. Just do a little each night.
*I did go grocery shopping. My bill would have been $140 bucks. However, I spend only $87 thanks to coupons. YAHOO!
*I did not find the shelf paper that I liked so I will have to continue my search.
Have a great week everyone!
hooray for having fun AND getting things done! Hee hee! I can’t believe you got all that done in one weekend Aby!
My son & I definitely had fun making the giant treasure map together. We also had a great time at a kids cookery roadshow run by the BBC with one of the children’s tv presenters hosting it. Now there is a girl who knows how to have fun- she made everyone smile! :o)
Anyway, thankyou for giving me the motivation to have a productive weekend. I’m in need of a rest after all that finishing off now!! LOL!! It’s good to get it done though.. :o)
Congrats on being so productive! And I agree, having fun should definitely be on our to do lists!!
Here’s my check list:
I’m in, definitely need some motivation. Here’s what I plan doing this weekend:
* Create digital b’day cards for 3 friends and send one (I’m already late for him!): the late one was done, I will do the rest during the week
* plan menus for the week and go grocery shopping accordingly : done!
* create 2 paper b’day cards for family : one done, I still have time for the other one
* study for my exam (at least 2 sessions on saturday and 3 on sunday) : 4 out of 5 done
* back up digital stuff (scrapbooking and photos) after finding out why it didn’t work last time!!! : done!
I feel really satisfied, thanks for the inspiration to get things moving!!
Ok, I actually didn’t have a list but one big accomplishment for this past Friday….laundry was all done and put away. My Finish it Friday is all about clearing the kitchen table and the kitchen counters. They have become my drop off spots for everything and often times things just sit there for a while. So with the table basically clean I can focus on the kitchen counters for next Friday.
Wow I am always in awe of all you get done!!
I am proud of my little project in our guest room and blogged about it – here’s the site address if you would like to see it-

Stopping by here to dig around a little to see what great information I can find.
I am helping a friend tomorrow night. I’m helping her to (start small) but organize her house.
I can’t wait, been dreaming about it all week. I love organizing! It that ok? :o)
Off to look around your site and take notes.
Take care,
Amy
