It’s a busy week here at simplify 101. We’re gearing up for two new, online organizing class sessions, and you’re invited to join the fun! Both classes start this Thursday, March 21st. Here’s what’s on tap:
Take the Stress Out of Dinner Time with Easy Meal Planning
Dinner time is one of my favorite times of the day. It’s a time to reconnect with my family, recharge our batteries and nourish our bodies. If dinner time is a source of stress in your household, I’d love to show you another way. My Easy Meal Planning online course is designed to take the stress out of your dinner recipe, by showing you step-by-step how to create a meal plan that works. Your customized meal plan will be based on your personal goals such as eating healthier, simplifying meal prep, saving time and saving money. If this sounds like a good plan to you, grab your spot in Easy Meal Planning.
Remove stress (and clutter) from your home with The FUNdamentals of Getting Organized
This is my newest (brand new, in fact) online course. If you’re having a hard time getting started on your projects or you’ve stalled or hit a snag, this class is designed to get you on track. Step by step I’ll guide you through the process of organizing your home so you can eliminate clutter and the stress that comes along with it. If you have any questions about this workshop and if it’s a good next step for you, let me know in the comments. I’m happy to answer your questions.
For example, you may be wondering the same thing Jodi asked on our Facebook page:
Q: Can you explain the difference between the new FUNdamentals class and the Organizing 101 class.
Organizing 101 was our very first core online workshop. There is similar content in Organizing 101 and The FUNdamentals of Getting Organized…but the new workshop is much more comprehensive. Here’s just some of the differences between these two classes:
- Start decluttering sooner, as soon as the second lesson.
- Find out how to manage a larger organizing project.
- Have 5 weeks to work on “organizing” / 7 weeks to work on decluttering.
- Find out about new roadblocks that weren’t covered in Organizing 101.
- Have access to me to answer questions for 8 weeks. (Organizing 101 is no longer offered as an expert-guided workshop.)
If you’ve taken other simplify 101 workshops, you will find familiar content in this workshop—concepts and strategies you have seen and used in other workshops such as Organizing 101, Quick + Simple Clutter Control, and Help! I Don’t Know Where to Begin. I like to think of this workshop as a “greatest hits” compilation—it includes proven approaches, strategies and methods for organizing your home. You’ll also get new content, but if your home is already working well for you organizationally or you feel you have all of the tools and resources you need to finish the organizing projects on your to-do list, then this workshop wasn’t designed with you in mind.
However, if you’ve read books on how to organize your home, collected organizing ideas via magazines, Pinterest or blogs, but your home is still more cluttered and disorganized than you’d like it to be, The FUNdamentals of Getting Organized is definitely for you!
Or maybe you can relate to this question that came up today in Help! I Don’t Know Where to Begin:
Q: One area where I stall in is deciding where things SHOULD go. “They” say that everything should have a home, and they’re probably right, but I can never quite figure out the right place. Maybe any decision is better than none . . . Is there a class for that?
There is a class for that! Figuring out where things should go is something that I cover in The FUNdamentals of Getting Organized. I also talk about strategies for dealing with midstream stuff…things you find that are homeless and you aren’t sure what to do with. This can be a huge roadblock for people, and it’s just one of 20 roadblocks that I cover in this workshop.
What’s your question about our online courses? Let me know in the comments so I can get the answers you need to decide if an online organizing class is a good next step in your organizing journey!
Thanks!
I’ve been looking forward to your meal planning class since January. Thanks so much for offering it!
