One of the few (very few) things I miss about my past life working in corporate America is coworkers … having someone to chit chat with about life’s pressing topics … things like who’s going to win American Idol and why on earth did Chris get voted off? I’m still perplexed and sad … although, I still think Taylor would have won in the end. How about you? Any predictions? Favorites?

I love Taylor too! I think he will win. I couldn’t believe it when Chris was voted off.
Now, do you watch Grey’s Anatomy? That is a great show for “co-worker” chat!! The season finally was soooo good!!!
Yep, Taylor is going to win – I’ve said that from the beginning. I’m sad that Chris was voted off, but I’m happy for him in that he is now free to negotiate any contract he wants without being held back by AI. And yes, every Wednesday and Thursday morning the office has to rehash last night’s show – from boss to student entire and everyone in between. It’s fun! ~Pam
I miss that too! I tried to call & call for Chris & never got through either number so am totally just confused on this show and it’s voting system. Not to mention sad he is not on anymore but know he has a good future ahead of him. Didn’t even watch last nights episode yet.
And I agree with Mary Anne – Grey’s rocked! I ran the gambit of emotions during the season ending, the acting was excellent! Almost want summer to fly by to see what is next – almost. 🙂
Well got the toddler down for a nap so off to shower and look for my old bead stash…scrapbooking has put a lot of my other crafts to the side but I am excited for your challenge and going to make myself a braclet. Will send you a link when it’s done. Thanks for the inspiration!
Sad to see Elliot go. Not that I liked him, just after they did their hometown segment on him it just showed that his heart was really in it and he seemed so appreciative of what had happened so far. I am totally rooting for Taylor. Love that guy. Looks like Chris won’t be hurting for offers himself and we’ll likely be seeing alot of him in the future. Ok, that’s all, thanks for chatting. I with you…I liked Chris but I have thought Taylor was going to win it all for the last couple of weeks. I was sorry to see Elliott go home last night, I am sure now that Taylor will be the next American Idol. And that makes me happy

I know what you mean about missing co workers. My office has been in my home for over 10 years now, and I really miss having someone to chit chat with or go to lunch with every once in a while. Maybe next time we can share a tuna sandwich out on the porch together, and then we can say we “did lunch!”
I too love Taylor, but I’m a Southern Girl living in Colorado, so anytime I get to hear that lovely Southern Drawl, I’m happy. I did like Elliot though. Maybe it’s because I always love an underdog or maybe it’s because I was born a decade or two too late (I love older music). When I heard him say Wednesday that he was just a clerk behind a pharmacy counter trying to find his dream, I wanted to cry. I get chills thinking about it even now. But now that he’s gone, I definitely want Taylor to win!
Thanks for being my coworker today. Somehow I know that your desk is more organized than mine though! Don’t ask me for a picture…I’d be too embarrassed to show you…or maybe you’d take a look at it and it would immediately make you hop on a plane to Colorado to help me organize!!! THAT would be so great!

I was so bummed about Chris also. He was my pick to win from the beginning. Though from the very first auditions, my 3 faves were Chris, Katherine, & Taylor…so the fact that my 3 faves made it to the top 4 was pretty neat. Rooting for Taylor to take home the title.
