Are you ready for some finishing—Finish It Friday style? I am excited!! Thanks to all of you who posted your October project lists—very exciting to see the things that are going to get done this month! This Finish It Friday is open to anyone. So even if you didn’t post a monthly project list, join in the Finish It Friday fun today. See for yourself how great it feels to make a list and finish some things up!
Finish It Friday To-Do List
- Wash windows. It looks like Saturday is going to be perfect—Sunny with a high of 86 degrees. A terrific day to be outside…washing windows. Woohoo!
- Finish laundry. My old standby Finish It Friday to-do is back. I love starting the week with all the laundry washed, folded and put away.
- Make progress on bathroom project. I need to call to get a quote for tile, and do a bit more prep work for the painting. I’d also like to do a bit more shopping / researching on light fixtures, faucets, etc. Fun!
Are you in for some Finish It Friday fun? If so, just post your weekend to-do list in the comments, and then, check back here on Tuesday to tell us what you finished. I can’t wait to here! Thanks for playing along. 🙂
Have a great weekend!
So excited to participate with Finish It Friday for the first time!
1. make/can applesauce with the kids (need use up all the apples I picked at the begining of the week.)
2. Decorate for Halloween and Fall
3. Laundry (I too love to start the week FINISHED)
Excited to have “Finish it Friday” back! Here’s my list:
1. Clean up the coat and shoe corner to prepare the fall and winter.
2. Have kids try on fall & winter clothes – donate what doesn’t fit and make a list of what we need.
3. Clean up PTO paperwork!
4. Start and finish “weekly menu” project.
Seems ambitious, but will feel so good to get a head start on the coming cooler temps!
We’re washing windows too!
I’ve been keeping up with Finish-It-Fridays (mostly) and they have been a tremendous help!
1. Clear email inboxes (mostly just archiving stuff)
2. Get supplies for baby shower next weekend
3. Paint halloween decor
4. Hang desk shelf
5. Finish labels for work
6. Enjoy our beautiful weather with my family!
Thanks for this motivation1 You’re awesome, Aby!
I love Finish-It-Fridays! It usually keeps me accountable through the whole weekend! 🙂
1. Make 30 end tables for our church.
2. Catch up on laundry
3. Go through misc. paper work that has piled up from last week. 😛
4. Carve pumpkins with my son & hubby.
5. Take some time to start reading a good book (can “me time” be put on this list?).
That’s all for now 🙂
Hi, Kait,
Yes, me time can most definitely be on your list!
Aby
Thanks everyone for sharing your lists! Excited to hear how things go this weekend.
Aby 🙂
Ok, here is mine:
1. Finish assembling my craft table (only need to drill holes for handles and put them on).
2. Buy legs for my sewing table (and assemble it).
3. Clear out a quarter of my email inbox (it is really, ridiculously big…).
4. Buy a panini press.
5. Go through my ‘in box’ and make sure all upcoming school events etc. are written up on calendar.
6. Bake a cake.
7. Do an hour of ironing (sheesh, the pile is high).
Ok, so this is my first “Finish it Friday” post for participation (and its actually already Saturday here in Ireland) … but, willing to give it a shot in order to start getting things finished :0)
Here goes …
1. Finish laundry (following your lead *grin)
2. Clear off my desk & find homes for new Ikea office storage items
3. Swap out summer clothes for autumn/winter ones and fill a “donate” bag!
There is lots more I could put on the list but “3” seems like a good place to start for now. Love the idea of decorating for Autumn as some of you put on your list … next time?
Happy Weekend!
